Words of wisdom

1. Success is a journey not a destination - I like this one because I believe that it is true and a great thing to learn.

2. Life is not fair get used to it - Because life is not fair and so many people think they can do anything.

3. Life is whats coming-not what was - Because I think you should look forward to your future and not worry about the past.

4. Today is a gift thats why it is called the present - Because I think you should take every day as it comes and not worry about tomorrow or yesterday.

For DARE we got to decorate our books as much as posible and we would get prizes this as my favourite page and I did get a prize for it.

DARE movies and photos

This is Julie smoking through a plastic bottle to show us what it does to your lungs.

Julie taught us a fun dance which the year 7 and 8s then did a flash mob in assembly.

We had so much fun at H2O for our fun day.

H2O was a great way to finish the dare course.

Dare summary

The Dare programe with Julie has been AMAZING I have learnt so much. The daily visits were lots of fun and now i know what illegal drugs are, why i shouldn't use them, how to say no to them and what will happen if the police find me with some. I loved the word of wisdom that goes 'Success is a journey bot a destination.' I cant wait to see Jullie again!!

Dare on thursday

Dare to make a choice has been a great learning experiment so far Julie is so much fun and she has great techniques to make you listen and really take it in.Yesterday we had lots of fun playing games and doing work sheets. The game was called minesweeper where we had to work together to get to the other side shown in the photo above. Then we did the worksheet, where we had been put into six groups and there were six work sheets where you have to be a judge that decides what the consequence will be and the police which say what the penalty is. we swapped the six sheets around and answered each question if you won you got lollie pops and the team that comes second gets a fruit burst. We are very excited to learn more and see Julie again.
